The software tools of NL 4-Quadrant Power Supplies are extended by a program for testing accumulators, capacitors, ultacaps and other energy storages.
The software BatteryTest makes it possible to test any sorts of energy storages just using the series NL equipment.
The software is capable of charging and discharging energy storages as well as doing dynamic and cycle tests. Different switch-off criteria as test-end voltage, time, capacity, external siganls or dropping voltage makes it possible to end charging or discharging. Charge and discharge phase may be concatenated to a cycle and passed through up to 600 times. Between the phases, a delay time up to 1800s can be implemented. With the dynamic test, different charge and discharge curves can be defined.
